He's flown halfway across the world to attend the World  Series of Poker.

And it looks like Shane Warne is embracing the Las Vegas lifestyle with open arms.

The cricketer was seen enjoying a professional massage during a game- doubtless a necessity to relieve the tension after many hours of play.

Shane, 42, looked sharp in a navy jumper and lilac shirt, teamed with pale blue sunglasses.


Shane and his fiancée Elizabeth Hurley both announced their arrival on Twitter, with Liz writing: 'Watching @warne888 start his first day at the World Series Poker Championship.....no idea what's going on but enjoying it!'


She explained their choice of accessory, writing: 'Re the sunglasses-i wear mine as I'm extremely short sighted and they're prescription! SW plays in his as he has v easy to read eyes....

'

Liz, 47, kept her followers updated on the atmosphere during the tournament, writing: 'Listening to the click-click-click of over a thousand people fiddling with their chips.'


There were certainly limited options for those not engaged in card play inside, as Liz tweeted: 'Too hot outside today-113 degrees!'


It appears that though she had been dutiful in her support of Shane all day, she became a little bored after a while, as she posted: 'Anyone know if there's a Todds store in Vegas?'

Shane appeared to have finished the day reasonably successfully, at least.

He wrote in the evening: 'Finished on 72,400 chips....

Shane thanked his followers for their support throughout the game, writing: 'That's it guys !!! Thankyou & goodnight... Xxxx'
